What is the Gift Card?

The Gift Card is a prepaid MasterCard® card with a value limited to the amount shown on the front, either £25 or £50. Because it's a prepaid card your spending is limited to this amount. Your Gift Card allows you to buy what you want, when you want, everywhere MasterCard® cards are accepted - millions of locations worldwide. However, you cannot use it to withdraw cash from cash machines and if you wish to use the Gift Card to shop on the Internet, you will need to register your card first at www.my360giftcard.com.

How much does it cost to buy the Gift Card?

There is a small purchase fee for each Gift Card as follows:

Where can I buy the Gift Card?

The Gift Card is available from various retailers including selected branches of WHSmith and WHSmith Travel, Somerfield supermarkets, Clinton Cards and SPAR stores.

Is there a limit to how many Gift Cards I can buy?

Yes. You can purchase 5 cards at one time to a maximum value of £250.

How does the Gift Card work?

You can use the Gift Card anywhere MasterCard® cards are accepted. Before you use your card first make sure that you sign the back and ensure you know your balance before you shop. Each time you use your card, the purchase amount is automatically deducted from your card balance. Knowing your card balance before you shop will help ensure that your card is accepted. You can check your balance anytime by visiting www.my360giftcard.com or by calling UK 08454 701 601, you can not check your balance in store. You can continue to use your card until the card balance has been depleted or until the expiration date shown on the card.

Do I need to do anything before using my Gift Card?

Before using your Gift Card, you must sign the back of the card where indicated. To allow you to make Internet purchases and to let us know if your card has been lost or stolen you will need to go to www.my360giftcard.com and register your card.

Do I need to activate my Gift Card?

No, the Gift Card is already activated. For your security, please sign the signature strip located on the back of the card. Go to www.my360giftcard.com to register your card and details to protect the balance should it be lost or stolen and allow you to shop on the Internet.

How do I know the value of my Gift Card?

The value of your Gift Card is printed on the card as well as the packaging it comes in. These materials provide important information, including the terms and conditions for using your card. Please read them carefully before using your Gift Card.

How do I know the balance on my Gift Card?

You can check the remaining card balance by visiting My Account at www.my360giftcard.com or by calling UK 08454 701 601. It's important to know your card balance before you shop, as merchants cannot determine the balance on your card. If you try to purchase an item of greater value than your card balance, your card will be declined.

Can a retailer tell me my card balance?

No. Shop retailers are not able to check your card's balance.

What if I want to purchase an item that costs more than my card balance?

To purchase an item that costs more than the balance on your card, you must provide a second payment method - such as cash, cheque, or another card - to cover the difference. When making your purchase let the cashier know how much you want to pay with each type of payment method. Ability to do this may vary from merchant to merchant.

How much money can I put on my Gift Card?

Your Gift Card is non re-loadable so you cannot top it up with cash. If you want to keep spending you can either buy another Gift Card or buy a card you can top up, visit www.my360giftcard.com for more information.

Will I be charged any fees for using my Gift Card?

There are no fees for making purchases with your Gift Card in the UK (Pounds Sterling). You will be charged 3.5% on all transactions not conducted in Pounds Sterling or outside the United Kingdom. A surcharge of 3% will be added to any transactions associated with gambling.

Can I use my Gift Card at more than one merchant?

Yes, you can use your Gift Card anywhere MasterCard® cards are accepted - at millions of locations worldwide including the Internet - as long as there are funds available on the card.

Can I use my Gift Card at petrol stations?

Yes, you can use your card to pay by taking it to the cashier. Your card cannot be used at self service petrol pumps.

Can I use my Gift Card at Hotels and for Rental Cars?

Yes. However, as they may not be able to accurately predict how much your final bill will be, they may request an authorisation for funds greater that your available balance.

Can I use my Gift Card at restaurants?

Yes. You will need to have an available balance equivalent to the total cost of the meal plus 20%. This is to accommodate any service charges that could be added to your bill. If the service charge is less than 20% then only the final agreed amount will be deducted.

Can I use my Gift Card for Internet or telephone purchases?

Yes. Your personal information needs to be registered with us in order to make purchases online or by phone. If the information you provide the merchant is different from that registered on www.my360giftcard.com, the purchase could be declined. You can check or update your personal information by visiting www.my360giftcard.com.

Certain Internet merchant sites or mail order and telephone order companies will, on registration or at the payment stage, send a request for payment authorisation to verify if funds are available: this will temporarily impact your available balance. Also please bear in mind that many sites won't deduct payment until goods are dispatched so please be aware of these variances on cleared funds when checking your balance and ensure that funds are always available to cover your purchases.

What do I do if my Gift Card is declined?

If a transaction is declined, you should first check your balance by visiting www.my360giftcard.com or by calling UK 08454 701 601. The merchant cannot access this information.

If you do not have enough funds remaining on the card to cover the purchase, you can use a second payment method - such as cash, cheque, or another card - to cover the difference. Let the cashier know how much you will pay with each type of payment when making your purchase. Ability to do this may vary from merchant to merchant.

If your card was declined, and you believe that there are sufficient funds to cover the purchase, you can check your balance for free at www.my360giftcard.com or contact us on UK 08454 701 601. If you wish to speak to a customer service representative you will be charged a £1 per minute service fee directly to your phone bill.

What if I need to return an item that I purchased with my Gift Card?

You will need to present your Gift Card when you return an item. Remember to save your purchase receipt and your Gift Card, even after you have spent the total balance in case you need to make any returns. When returning an item purchased online, you will need to have your card number available to process the return. The return value is usually credited back to your card within 7-14 days. Please wait until 14 days have passed before contacting us about any return value on your card.

What if I change my mind and want to cancel a purchase?

If the merchant cancels a transaction at your request, the funds are usually available for use within 10 days. If you have cancelled a purchase and the funds do not appear on your balance please wait until 10 days have passed before you contact customer services.

How long can I use my Gift Card for?

You can use your Gift Card until the balance reaches zero or the card expires, whichever comes first. The card will expire 12 months after purchase. After that you will not have access to any of the remaining funds on the card.

What happens when I spend all the funds on my Gift Card?

Your Gift Card no longer has any value and cannot be used to make purchases.

What do I do if my Gift Card is lost or stolen?

You should treat your Gift Card like cash and keep it safe at all times. Your Gift Card can only be reported as lost or stolen if you have registered it at www.my360giftcard.com. Log in to your account and choose the Lost or Stolen option. We will then send you a refund for the remaining balance on your card via cheque or bank transfer minus an administrative fee of £4.95.
